Marquez - "Mayweather is The Best, Not Pacquiao"

Barrera was certainly in his prime in their first fight.

Morales was close to his prime in their first two fights. And even in the third fight he was only 30, the same age as Pac is now. To the extent that he was shot in the third fight, it was more than likely the first two Pac fights that caused it, because it sure as hell wasn't because he was old.

As for the two Pac-JMM fights, most experts said that both fights were very close indeed, and very difficult to score. No very close fight can ever be called a robbery. Anyone who can't accept that a very close fight can legitimately be scored either way, and that in those circumstances, the judges' decision is final, is just a very bad loser. It is fair to say that both fights were so close that there needs to be a rubber match, though.

But who has Marquez officially beaten who is a likely future Hall of Famer? And how many lineal titles has he won? On both counts, Pac's résumé is much better.

Marquez is a truly great fighter, but to say his overall résumé is way better than Pac's is ridiculous.

so vargas is only 31 0r 32 is he still in his prime? hell no!!! a fighter only has so many battles in him before he's shot and age isnt always the determining factor its the beatings and nature of the fights hes absorbed. morales was in no way prime even the first time he faced pac,i remember very clearly no one was expecting him to win. morales was also on a clear decline and losing streak already when he faced pac 2nd and 3rd time. pacas resume nothing but damaged good fighters.you have to be a moron to not see that.

Totally agree with you, cmon how can Manny be better, if both fights couldve gone either way and Marquez has fought way better opponents than Manny? Can somebody explain that to me why is Manny better, i like Pacquiao but you cant assure me that hes is p4p 1, until the rematch takes place.
