Cotto & Shane come in the ring at 162 for every fight while Clottey was 170 against Chico but Floyd is the one who is picking on little guys? Get real man. Pac looked like a monster at 130. EM is a big guy and Pac made him look like a little boy in the ring. He physically was no match for Pac's enormus size but now your trying to play him like he was small cat. JMM went to LW and KO the 2 top guys there. 2 guys who will probably never be stopped by anyone else and he was going to 140 anyways but Floyd is fighting little guys? Get real. Name 1 fight besides the so called Hatton fight where Floyd was fighting a little guy. You cant and even in the Hatton fight Floyd came from 2 divisions lower. Hatton always came into the ring more at 140 than Floyd came in at WW. Hatton walks around outside the ring at least 30 pounds bigger than Floyd. Hatton averaged like 158 pounds in his 2 WW fights while Floyd averages 147 but Floyd picked on a smaller man, right? Dude, he's only at WW because he's that good. Anyone else his size wouldn't be anywhere near that division or they would be getting lit up like Zab. He's not this big guy that you're trying to make him out to be, nor is JMM & Pac these little guys
Well posted. For some peculiar reason, some fans get Alzheimers when the more important weights on fight night like this are brought up.

JMM gave Pacman a hard fight cuz he's a counter puncher now lets see what happens when Pacman fights some1 with Floyd's defense....remember this is not a Hatton coming str8 at u or a weight drained De La Hoya...Floyd is a slickster and he will beat Pacman.
No one can dispute that Manny is a great and exciting fighter. And everyone knows which Oscar showed up to fight him by looking into the weight issues on that night. Oscar's weight causing many to question
    the result.

Ricky faced Manny at his best weight, but has only himself to blame for
believing he could bum rush his way into Manny the way he did in fights prior to his first loss.

They can be called excuses made on behalf of Manny's opponents all day long until it's time for Pacquiao vs Mayweather.

But something tells me if Floyd blows Marquez out quicker than Manny did, I won't be surprised if Arum, Roach and Team Pacquiao pull out a long list of stipulations to give Manny more of an edge. They've already given hints
about who needs to come down in weight to meet Manny.

Manny's willing to fight anyone. His representatives admire that in him.
But, understandably, are quite protective as well.

    I'm just sayin'.

The way I see it, the winner of this fight will truly be #1 lb for lb. If Floyd were to come back after nearly 2 yrs of inactivity and decisively beat the man who Pacquiao has yet to beat convincingly, he deserves the title. And if JMM were to pull off the upset, that's just all-time greatness, never mind lb for lb.

A win by either edges out Pac for the #1 spot. Besides, we all know the winner will have a showdown with Pacquiao. (Unless Bob Arum ***s everything up.)

          I think it does matter.

Marquez thinks Mayweather is the best in boxing.

Now there are alot of pac fans getting carried away with him beating David diaz, A shot, weight drained de la hoya and a hatton that had already been knocked out, but forget that for a second.

Who is the best in the sport of boxing right now?

          Mayweather.

So where is the contraversy, cos I dont really see it.

Pretty Boy's been out for nearly a year. Just because he unretired now doens;t automatically vault him to the P4P top spot. Plus, I had Marquez losing the rematch with Pacquiao.

this is a battle for number 2. marquez keeps making excuses but his fight with pac was close and when a fight is close shouldn't the knock down be the determing factor. i think so.

how does mayweather take the top spot by fighting a lightweight who has only fought twice at that division. he needs to earn it all over again and by fighting pac and other welters.

A former P4P #1 beating a lot smaller current P4P #2 is already expected. how could you give credit to Mayweather for that win.....

I think jmm has a fatal attraction for pac.
You're thinking too hard man! You clearly don't have the heart of a fighter, when you beat somebody and get robbed from the victory, and everybody praises the other guy...even though deep in your heart you know you won, you feel you must whoop his ass again to prove you won! Have you ever boxed in your life? you sem like you have don't have a competitive side at all, just gossip like a *****!
