Floyd looks like an idiot, and at one point looks close to tears. But to his credit he did beat Baldomir and Hatton after this interview.
See here's the thing; Brian Kenny was getting on Floyd about not fighting Baldomir or Hatton right? But I bet if you ask him today, he'd admit that the Zab Judah fight was the toughest fight that Floyd had out of those three. Now, look I get it.
It was funny to all of you people who refuse to admit that you're Mayweather haters that Kenny was calling Floyd out with quite a bit of truth behind his argument, but in hindsight we know that the whole "real champ" stuff was just bull anyway. Guys like Larry Merchant, Brian Kenny, Steve Kim, etc. all wanted to see Mayweather-Baldomir in Feb/March 2006 right?
But by Dec. 2006 after they were soooooo disappointed with the outcome of that fight they started calling Baldomir a "hand picked" opponent. It's funny because after Baldomir-Gatti Emmanuel Stewart and Larry Merchant were so adamant that Baldomir was such a big strong and good welterweight that they doubted Mayweather wanted to fight. When Mayweather whitewashed Baldomir...well we know what happened.
In late 2005/early 2006 a lot of people said Mayweather "ducked" Hatton. But if Mayweather fights Hatton in 2005 the fight isn't half as big as it was in 2007. I know the haters like to say that Hatton was just smaller than Floyd, but in 2005 the haters said that Hatton would give Floyd problems because Floyd was a small 140 lber.
What an entertaining Video...Sorry PBF fans ur boy got owned!
I mean yeah, but look every fighter Kenny wanted to see Floyd fight he actually ended up fighting and yet the only one who actually gave Floyd any trouble was Zab Judah (the guy Kenny was going ballistic about Floyd fighting). But even though Floyd fought and dominated both Baldomir and Hatton as Kenny was demanding, to this day Kenny claims that Floyd "hand picks" opponents.
But yet you haters still refuse to admit that no matter who Floyd fights there'll be people out there who say Floyd "hand picks" his opponents.
