bruce lee vs any boxer (106lbs to 240lbs)

I am impressed.

I thought the logic was pretty simple: doing one finger pushups does not always mean you can fight.

But apparently with Bruce lee that's all the proof people need.

Any of you Bruce lee guys ever heard of CHIN? Since he never fought anyone how do we know how well he could take a shot full force? For example?

A myth has been broken for me though, I thought fans of boxing would know well enough that Bruce would get his ass spanked. Even in a street fight he would get his ass handled.

I've already gone over all of it. None of his jockriders can dispute the facts on the ground so they just resort to namecalling.

bruce lee does deserve respect. he wasn't a fake.

he did study several martial arts and i'm sure he and his students could take care of themself.

i don't consider him a fighter though. he's a martial artist definitely and i'm sure he can fight but that doesn't make him a fighter.

Exactly. Most martial artists can probably take a random guy or defend themselves but they don't train to live fight.

Neither did bruce. Although at least he sparred live.

Look, bruce deserves respect as an ICON. He was important and influenced TONS of fighters and actors and musicians.

But like Che G. his image has been grossly distorted as time went on.

I have a lot of respect for him as an athlete/actor. His nuthuggers clearly don't, if you have respect for someones acomplishments you wouldn't feel any shame in realising their limitations you wouldn't have to overhype his set abilities.
