Pre-fight prediction: Hatton will be improved defensively and technically under Floyd Snr and so will win by KO

Post fight reaction: Hatton threw everything in training out the window, if he learnt anything to begin with, and Manny hits harder at 140 then expected. Hatton did have the power to hurt Manny though, and I still stand by my prediction that a better defensive and composed Hatton would have beaten Manny.

Pre fight: Can't wait to see more from the new and improved HITMAN. Looking forward to seeing his improved jab, head movement and all around better boxing smarts under Floyd Sr. Damn this guy's going to give Pac a hell of a fight. I'm so glad I decided to pay $50 for this fight.

Post fight: I'm such a twat.

So you're saying if Hatton did show all the defensive and technical improvements he was promising, then he wouldn't have had a better chance?

The truth is Hatton lost badly because he showed no improvements and because of this Roach's gameplan for Manny worked perfectly. But Hatton had the power to hurt Pac and could hit him, so IMO with the improvements that we were expecting he would have a chance of KO'ing Pac.

I'm not denying who was better on the night, as Manny was better by far obviously. I just stand by my original thought that a defensively and technically better Hatton would have a good chance of beating Pac.
