The Klitschkos are great for boxing!

Wladimir and Vitali are the kind of good sportsmen that have been few and far between in boxing during the past few decades.

We've had a convicted rapist as heavyweight champion, a man who actually bit off part of his opponents ear in the ring. We briefly had a crackhead as heavyweight champion, after McCall KOed Lennox Lewis. And we've had another champion who talked about God constantly, yet conceived many children out of wedlock.

But the Klitschkos are not only great fighters and powerful punchers (their KO percentages higher than Ali, Holmes, Holyfield and Lewis) they are also good men outside the ring! They have raised money to build schools in Africa, and to provide assistance to needy children in the New York area.

The Klitschkos set a good example for children by being good sportsmen inside and outside the ring. Young people look up to top athletes, and these men are the ideal role models!

you forgot about the racist ones......James Jeffries, Marvin Hart, Tommy Burns and few more.....we cant forget the RACIST.....you know a RACIST is worst than a crackhead or rapist......Wlad is GOOD for the sport.......I cant say the same for Vitali but Wlad is a class act and is the PERFECT role model for children of ALL races!!

I think if you don't like a fighter to begin with, that's when you'll find even his KOs boring.

When I point out some people don't like the Klitschkos because they are European, it bothers you because deep down, you know that's true.

I like Vitali. I even like Wlad. However I don't enjoy watching Wlad. It has nothing to do with his background. What bothers you is that people find your fighter boring b/c his style has in many cases become unpleasing to the eye. You can't force people to pretend they're entertained by your fighter if they are not. I will also admit that at times Wlad is funny/charismatic. I've seen a few interviews of him on talkshows where he was very amusing. Pulling the race card is lame.

vitali just came out of retirement. He just won a title, and fought his mandatory.

He'll have another couple of fights and then retire. He's still very good, but i could see he's aging in the gomez fight.

Yes, racism is very bad indeed.

And a lot of people hate the Klitschkos because they are white men from a former Soviet republic. For example, DavrosPromuleas (aka Duffgun) refers to the Eastern European boxers as "communist conks" and has nothing but bad to say about them.
