Penalosa Lands a Number 2 Spot in The WBO Rankings

All props to Gerry for fight he put up against Juanma, but he wasn't stripped by the WBO for fighting at 122. He was stripped because he wouldn't defend the bantamweight title. He defended it once in more than a year-and-a-half, and that was against a washed up Sor Vorapin. If you defend a title once in a year-and-a-half, you deserve to be stripped. However I have no problem ranking him high at bantamweight and giving him another shot.
As far as beating Montiel, it should be a good fight. Montiel is really good. He's a little bit past his prime, but so is Gerry. If it's in the Philippines, I'd give Penalosa a pretty good shot if he's not been ****ed up by the Lopez beating

but Kelly is still the WBC and WBO Middleweight champion. If anything Penalosa is still the WBO Bantamweight champion.
