Would a 135lbs Mayweather have beaten Casamayor and Diaz as impressively as JMM did?

      Yes he did, considering the high calibur that those guys are, considering neither had been beaten like that before, and considering juan diaz was a young and hungry fighter, that fight was a milestone in JMMs career, YES it was impressive, i dont care who was winning on what card.

          in the lighter weights pbf was a real gem. he did it all. at 35 he was a beast.

                actually 3 out of 4 of his fights there were lackluster performances. the phillip ndou fight was nice but that's like fighting gatti. no defense easy punch bag.

                  Phillip Ndou was actually pretty decent. He had some potential anyway, but as you say, lack luster defense.

                  Sosa gave Spadafora a nice fight and the other two wins are Castillo.

                  Mayweather's Lightweight stint was good, but he could have done more.

                      Word a few years back was that Casamayor had mayweathers number in sparring, when PBF was at 135.
