Would a 135lbs Mayweather have beaten Casamayor and Diaz as impressively as JMM did?

Fighting JMM, although unfair weight wise, is still a respectable opponent, Manny will be one for sure. So he is out to capture back old fans like me.Comment

Don't make up ****.
ps: Good luck comparing JLC to Juan Diaz.Comment

Back at 130 and 135 Floyd was a true badass. He would have chewed them up and spit them out without any trouble. It was only later when Floyd got spoiled by his riches that he stopped taking true chances.

These types of threads anger me becasue you can tell this ignorant mofo started watching Floyd starting from the DLH bout. Have you EVER seen a Floyd fight at 135? I gurantee you haven't.Comment

First of all, JMM didn't beat Diaz or Casamayor that impressively, Diaz was up by 3 and I had Casamayor up by 1, the K.O was indeed impressive though. Casamayor would have been a little problem, as for Diaz, Diaz would have gotten K.O'd in about the 6 or 7th I'd sayComment

I honestly don't think so. In fact I view the swarming style of Juan Diaz as potential trouble for Mayweather. I think Floyd would beat him but I could smell a possible upset because Diaz has an underrated jab and speed like Castillo did. One factor though is that Diaz doesn't handle cuts very well and Mayweather's power could produce that. Now Casamayor I think was sort of shot when he fought Marquez but his cagyness and dirty tactics could've possibly frustrated Mayweather but Floyd would have beaten him handily. JMM fought such a good fight against Joel that I don't think he even had a chance to try to rough up Marquez that much. I've only caught highlights of the JMM-Casamayor fight on HBO on demand with JMM's greatest hits and one thing that JMM did so well was blasting El Cepillo with the uppercut. A prime-for-prime matchup with Mayweather would be competitive in my view when they were both at 130. I'm not gonna get into who turned down who.Comment

i seem to recall mayweather, knowing the fight was on the line, especially in round 11, stood his ground. I dont go crazy if you think castillo won the fight, but he DID NOT run against castillo that first fight.Comment
