Sexton vs. Rogan Rematch is Eyed by Frank Warren

Promoter Frank Warren is very interested in setting up a rematch between heavyweights Martin Rogan and Sam Sexton. Last Friday in Belfast, Rogan overcame a shaky start to nearly stop Sexton in the eight round. Sexton was out on his feet and getting battered, so Martin stood back and thought the referee was going to stop the fight. He was surprised when moments later the fight was stopped after the referee deemed that his eye was too swollen to continue, and that made Sexton the winner. Rogan is now charged to avenge the only loss on his record. [details]

great news. Rogie wont make that mistake again. Also he needs to go in hard early. When he put his foot on the gas and put the pressure on Sexton couldnt deal with him.
Rogie by devastating KO rd 6

Nobody wants the Rogan train to derail.

And Warren could care less about Sexton, he's gearing up a Chishora/Rogan fight.

        Good!

Rogan screwed up, he's too good of a sportsman for his own good (As Jim Watt said). He had Sexton out, and it should've been stopped. But, Rogan shouldn't have looked to the ref to stop it, he should've carried on until it was stopped. But hey, if a rematch comes off, Rogie will win it by KO.

Rogan cares too much about the other boxers safety... I hope the rematch doesn't have the same outcome with Rogan holding back. He has to realize that if Sexton hurt him, I hardly doubt Sexton would hold back.

I cant see him doing that again. No-one would make that mistake again. Hopefully. It's not like he's killed/gave someone brain damage in the ring before so he wont hold back next time.
Plus, Frank Warren isn't the most reliable source. I'll not think that much about it until it's signed and sealed.

He is when it comes to money.

Rogan is a little gold-mine. Warren will look after him.

There definitely needs to be a rematch. That swelling was caused by a headbutt and Rogan was on the verge of KO'ing Sexton were it not for his inexperience in the ring. Also the ref was absolute garbage, and should have actually stopped the fight when Sexton was out on his feet.
