How would the Hatton that beat Kostya have done against Pacman?

This aint a bait/hate thread i honestly think the fight would have been a lot more competitive. I rate Pacman as the best since SRL (Yeah, even above Sweetpea) so id say Pacman UD but id like to get everyones take on it. Maybe i'm wrong, who knows?

    Thoughts?

Hagler vs Hearns. Pac is Hagler.

Is that the Hatton who clinched his way to victory by tiring Kostya out with clinching...

I think Hatton gets KO'D either way, maybe he lasts longer but his guard is letdown at times even in his past fights. And I think Manny would make him pay.... Now, if you're talking about the Manny Pacman back during that time period, then I'd say yes Manny would win by decision then.

Does he get multiple free shots at Pacquiao's nuts like he did at Tszyu's?

Fight definently would have been more entertaining, because it was before Hatton started his "hit, fall in, grab, hit while holding, let go, & repeat" routine he fights with today.

Thats the Hatton who was walking through right hands from Kostya. The Hatton who most regarded as having one of the top chins in the sports.

He still woulda gotten dominated. You put too much into the theory that the hitman lost punch resistance which is a bunch of bollocks. Many fighters fought on throughout their careers having been in more damaging fights than Ricky. Fighters don't lose punch resistance as much as their slowed reflexes does not allow them to see oncoming punches as good. Pacman can crack and that is why Ricky got hurt by virtually everything Pac landed on him. Look at the career of Ali, Fraizer, SRL, Duran, etc. Losing Punch resistance is absurd.

I diasgree. Hatton walked through bombs in the Kostya fight and most would regard Kostya as a bigger puncher than Pacman at 140.

I see Hatton losing on points.

Nah, Flattened was just weight drained. Don't get me wrong, that left hook by PAC was as hard and clean as it can f**kin' get, but I really think Flattened's legs weren't there at all.

I even spoke with Onyok Velasco while we were walkin' out of the MGM Grand, and he said that Flattened was weight-drained, but he still thought that PAC would've beaten a non weight drained Flatten.
