Hatton easily disposes of Witter IMO while the Bradley fight could either way. Bradley doesnt have the greatest power and his a shaky/average chin so if Hatton came in motivated i could see it being a very even fight. i'd probably favor Bradley by decision though i would like to see this fight!

He eat too many straight right hands in the Mayweather fight. He never recovered, and the end result is the chinny version of Hatton we have today.
Paulie shook Cotto as well at 140 as well as others. Conditioning plays a part in punch resistance and Hatton's conditioning for Lazcano was crap. Explain why other fighters who took more damage than ricky maintain their beards. Fighters like Ali, Fraizer, Corrales, Shane Mosely, etc. They seem to still be able to hold their own in the chin department. A fighter doesn't lose their ability to take a shot, just to see it coming. If that was the case Hatton must really have some brain damage by now.

In other words, conditioning. Conditioning is the only reason why a fighter would lose punch resistance. The brain does not get shook more because of age. Cerebrospinal Fluid does not decrease to cause more concussive outcome. Unless their was permanent damage to the brain that would cause the brain to move and collide with the skull more when hit than resistance should still be the same. Hatton was in great shape for the Pac fight and no permanent injuries to the head that would cause him to lose punch resistance.

I agree Ricky still beats both, but nowhere near as easy as he could have done in the past. I think the training had ALOT to do with Hatton's punch resistance in the Pacquiao fight. He didn't look as muscular as we have seen him, he actually did look pretty drained at the weigh-in and I'm not sure there was much emphasis on leg work which plays a big part in punch resistance. With a better training camp focusing more on strength work i.e. playing to Ricky's best asset rather than focusing on things he will never be good at, and a big focus on defence, namely keeping his gloves up and using head movement, then Ricky should beat these two guys.

I always thought Witter had Hatton's number, I still think he does. Ricky stops Bradley though...Tim just doesn't have the power to hurt ricky.

You never know what will happen till they fight, I still want to see Witter vs Hatton before they retire.
