i maybe would still favor him in these fights ... but they are far from a lock witter has decent pop and hatton seems to have no punch resistance anymore and bradley is a good enuf and strong enuf mentally and physically to get a ud/sd imo
hatton still beats witter and bradley

Rickys my boy but his punch resistance is gone. He'd **** ****ter up but id find it tough to go against Bradley.
Hattons been on the slide since he beat Kostya. Ive watched all his fights again the past week or so and it was even evident in the Maussa fight he'd lost a bit.Last edited by Alibata; 05-17-2009, 01:11 AM.Comment

Hatton would beat Witter. I don't know about bradley though. Funny thing is before the Pacuiao fight I was telling everyone Bradley would probably beat hatton, and you guys were claiming Hatton would steam roll him.Comment

What is all this about "punch resistance". I've heard of fighters not being able to pull the trigger, fighter losing speed, losing stamina, slower reflexes etc. but punch resistance? I've seen fighters take a lot more punishment than Ricky has and still have solid chins throughout their career losing a step or two before they lose "punch resistance". Look at Ali, Fraizer, Leonard, Hearns. They fought long into their careers without losing "punch resistance". They lost a step, their reflexes slowed but "punch resistance". Common now.
He eat too many straight right hands in the Mayweather fight. He never recovered, and the end result is the chinny version of Hatton we have today.Comment

A lightweight out of retirement in Luzcano hurt him badly. Feather fists Paulie Malignaggi shook him in the first round (the only one he fought worth a damn). Manny Pacquiao KOed him with ease, something Pac had not been able to do with SMALLER fighters of a supposedly lesser calibur.

I was watching Manny since 2001 vs. Ledwaba and by no means his road to the top was easy. Its funny they say Manny Pacquiao was fighting old and shot fighters when those fighters were the ones calling him out. So with Manny knocking out his recent opponent, obviously to boxing experts eyes, Hatton was/is a bum at 140lbs.Comment

I don't even wanna think about Hatton vs Bradley.... The way those two like to fight, it would look like gay ****.
Witter v Hatton would be fun, because at this point it might be the only fight Ricky could get inspired for. Kind of like Oscar vs Vargas.Comment

They were just more prone to getting hit by punches they didn't see due to diminished reflexes. Common now.Comment
