Vitali quitting against byrd was pathetic

he was ahead on the cards and only had a few rounds left to pull through, he could have easily fought one handed and rode out the win, plenty of fighters have fought on with injuries worse than that, and vitali quit at the first sign of adversity in a fight he was clearly winning

great fighters dont quit like that, and if they do they have to redeem themselves with gutsy performances after that (see roberto durans career after quitting vs ray leonard, or vazquez's fights after quitting vs marquez)

    vitali is just a disgrace

I think Tearing a rotator cuff is a better reason than being frustrated.

        IMO.

You just exposed how much of a Klitschko hater you are with that.

Vitali quit because he was hurt. That is excusable.

Duran quit for no apparent reason. He quit because he was being outboxed and he was NOT HURT.

            Vitali redeemed himself against Lewis

How come Danny Williams didn't quit with his arm hanging off. Why didn't Abraham uit after he had his jaw broken in two different places with it hanging off and it just dangling there, while he was losing an astronomical amount of blood?

Because neither of them will ever have a fraction of the career Vitali did.

End of. He timed the quitting pretty well IMO.

                    saved his shoulder.
