Would Ike Ibeabuchi be champion if he didn't go to Jail?

At the time, the man seemed unstoppable. He hit kinda hard but his punch output was ridiculous for a heavyweight. If he didn't get caught up with that call girl **** thing ... where do you think he would have placed in the heavyweight division? Was he on his way to greatness?

He could have become a titlist, don't think he would have beaten Lewis though.

If not prison over the ****, it would've been something else. He was mentally unbalanced to begin with. On top of that, they'd have suspended him for 'roid use eventually.

However, rather than nitpick your question, I'll answer it: Yep, if he'd gone on like he was, without self-destructing or getting suspended for banned substances, he'd have bashed his way through the entire division, I think.

I think he could have pulled a Rahman. if not, then he could easily have won a strap. overall, I think he would have been one of the top guys, maybe through the mid 00's mainly due to his chin and power

Vitali or Wladimir would have put a beating on him, and knocked him out.

Then everybody would say he was just a bum, like they always do about the people Wlad & Vitali stop.

I belive he would of become a Title holder no dout, but I don't know about becoming king of the division, but I wound't of put it past him. I think he would of been rather dominant in todays current crop of Heavyweights, which isn't a insult todays Heavyweights.

Just such a waste of talent, his destructive stoppage over the unbeaten Chris Byrd is very impressive, as is his slugfest victory over a prime David Tua.

He had a cast iron chin, good stamina, good punching power and could put power combinations together well.

Alot of people would often compate him to Sonny Liston....

Too much muscle, too strong, not to mention the little "insanity" thing...I think that **** was probably just roid rage.

The guy was just too "much" overall, in my opinion.

Mind you, I'm not 100% sure he was on roids, but everybody else I've seen that looked and acted like that was.

But there is no dout that he had the potential to beat Wlad and Vitali. He had the chin to stay up from both and the power to KO Wladimir. And I know many dislike the pair, but I always give them the respect and credit they deserve.

Ike Ibeabuchi vs either Klitschko is a very interesting match up.
