Yea, but it was a close hard fought and Mosley could have won and no one would have argued.
Cotto got demolished by Margarito, Mosley lost a close fight to Cotto then blew out Margarito.
i always factor in the probability of margarito cheating which is very high. i don't even count that fight as a loss for cotto. he fought his heart out. yeah he had the wrong game plan but he stood in there and took concrete bombs for 11 rounds before he decided he couldn't turn the tide and it was better to live another day then be a "warrior". the fight is tainted so badly you can't even really count it. so considering only mosley vs cotto and cotto having won even though by a slim margin. cotto gets the go ahead to be on top of mosley in the top 10 p4p rankings with me right now.
Look *****s, Cotto Deserves to be there, he have only one lost and a taited one.
Cotto should be at #7 in any list!!!!!!!!!!!!
I certainly don't think so and I like Cotto. Fact is he just lost to Margarito, and when he lost he wasn't even that high on the list. He still hasn't beat anyone of note since his loss so I wouldn't have him in the top ten. neither would i have kelly Pavlik. Paul Williams certainly should be higher than Cotto, and Dawson should be around number 10.
Not just that, Gomez, Margrato L and then Jennings, that isn't enough to add him on the P4P list. A win over Clottey is
Before that, Mosley, Judah and Quintana.
Past fights counts too!!!!!!!!!!
Cotto should be there, He was #3 P4P when he lost to Margarito. So taking him out of the list just because he lost to Margarito is ridiculous and ignorant!!!!!!!
Cotto is well place at #7, Behind Mosley and above Darchinyan!!!!!!!
1. Tyson Fury
2. Ricky Hatton
3. Carl Froch
4. Manny Pacquaio
5. Evander Holyfield
6. Floyd Mayweather Jr
7. James DeGale
8. Kenny Bayliss
9. Anderson Silva
10. Edwin Valero
Let me explain:
#9 - Silva is the best striker in MMA. Which means he's the best boxer in boxing.
#1 - Soon to be undisputed heavyweight champion. He will then lose those titles after he knocks himself out with a brutal uppercut.
#8 - Kenny gets tired of reffing. Decides to glove up and competes at flyweight. Beats all other competition and moves straight up to cruiserweight - skipping all other weight classes in between.
#5 - Holyfield will win his fight in a few months. After smack talking the current champion David Haye, he will get a match for all of the belts. Holyfield then goes on to knock Haye down in the first round and scores a TKO after unleashing some lethal arm shots.
There needs to be no explanation for the rest as they are all currently ATGs.
Remove Izzy he hasn't faught in a while, Juanma just had his best win, this isn't enough to be on the list, Bradley is more deserving. He beat Witter and Holt, Vic should be higher then Donaire although he lost to him, we ain't gonna act like Vic dont have the better resume
Why isn't B-Hop on there?
izzy hasn't fought in a year because of medical reasons not because he retired or inactive.
the 122 king deserves his spot.
juanma destroyed deleon , figueroa and medina all solid fighters and absolutely outclassed a very good veteran in penalosa. it's not just the wins but how you win.
hopkins? any guy who loses to jermain taylor twice is no longer at his best nor deserves a spot on the list.
i totally forgot about bradley. i might have to take lopez off.
darchinyan is ducking donaire. that deserves consideration.
