All pinoys will try to follow in Manny's footsteps but will come up short, your prospects are being fed bums, and that won't help once you get in with a world class boxer, the only pinoy right now that can probably pull it off is Nonito, he has a lot of potential, but he needs to be more active, other then Nonito, don't see much left (for now).

I enjoy all Mexican fighters and hope JMM whoops on Mayweather because I am a big fan of JMM.
Exactly, as I said in my previous post, Nonito can probably pull it off and as of the current prospects none seem to be able to reach the level of Manny, Donaire isn't a prospect, so he can pull it off, and yup, we have so much young talent the next fighter could even surpass Erik, MAB or JMM, Phillipines will probably begin to catch up in the next 5-10 years.

We saw a different warrior in AJ "Bazooka" Banal during his fight with Matumla. Very impressive indeed. He is surely prepared for the world title.

We have had several Mexicans become p4p #1 sadly Manny is the only Pinoy to achieve that status, and your prospects are beating our rejects/bums, sorry to say buddy but most will meet Viloria, Mayol, Bautista, hell even Manny's fate and that is get in the ring with a Mexican and lose, accept it, once Manny is gone, pray Donaire gets better because he is all you guys will have left for awhile, while we will have a **** LOAD of new prospects, like I have told you nut huggers before, enjoy the sport not just your boxers.

I don't see that much improvement in Banal at all, although I think he's still the best prospect from ALA gym.

The power is evident, but it's kinda funny how he bounces too much on his toes, and he is totally predictable before he punches: just watch for the toes; when it moves, a punch is coming.

He will get nailed once he fights someone who can time him well.

The only reason why GOOD Filipino prospects are NOT famous is because, the country is a continent away from the USA. The ONLY REASON WHY MEXI-BUMS and the **** boxers Mexicans call prospects are famous, is because Mexico is a walk away from USA...... if Banal was stationed in the USA, he'd be a World Champ already. That's why mexicans have so many World CHamps now.
