i think if pac is american, he would be considered higher in the ATG list. cause people would have paid attention to his carreer earlier, not just hear about them.

the moment after a fighter wins is the time where he's greatness is measured more accurately. cause after some time, people will think excuses why he won, or why the other guys lost, where in the fight itself, theres just two guys fighting. no excuses or other bull****.

Pac's earlier career isn't that impressive. KTFO by Torrecampo. KO by Singsurat. He was very ****y when he was young. He struggled with Sanchez and the first Marquez fight after the 1st round was tough for him. Floyd would of whooped Manny bad when they were younger. Manny has done work to bridge that gap, but Mayweather is still clearly the better fighter.

          Ah, possibly true.

However, if he were American things would also most likely change. He probably wouldn't have turned pro at such a young age and fought at such a low weight. If he still gets knocked out twice, not sure. It depends on what really was the cause and if he were to make the same mistake again if he did make that mistake.
It would be more likely that he builds his way up through the amateur ranks on to the Olympics and then turns pro. Just like at 16 years old Floyd won in the amateurs at 106 pounds, Pac instead of being a Pro would have most likely been an amateur like Floyd at such an age and weight.

But then you have this: Is his mentality the same if he is American/born here?

Lots of things to decide if you want to get deep into it.

In the end, the simple method is to say "He was the better man on that night." However, when research is done and the autopsy report is in, everything is looked at. There is no denying that Oscar on that night wasn't the same Oscar that fought Floyd or fought Shane years ago at 147. Or with Morales in at least the third fight looked ill. As well as the second fight going into that match coming down from 135 where he lost to Raheem.

yes. but fighters fight like once every six months now. not like in the old days. so they are expected to be in top shape. they are expected to know their opponents.

that's why i still give credit to pac beating oscar. cause boxers are supposed to be in top shape coming to their fight. if he was not, then it means he's not as good as a boxer than people think.

training and preparation is part of the game. if dlh miscalculated his weight, then that's a flaw. like a glass chin or a weak punch.

dlh "would have beaten pac" at this weight or any other weight doesnt really mean much to me. cause what happened was pac beat dlh. period.

fraud gayweather jr is a very coward fighter, he's always saying that he is the best fighter and the greatest, if he wants to be called the best why not fight fighter at his own weight class (welterweight division) like shane mosley or miguel cotto? why on earth did he choose smaller fighter like JMM? simply because gayweather jr is afraid to face the two welterweight fighters.. because he himself knows that if he fight them, mosley and cotto would certainly break his skull and eat him alive. SHAME on him. people won't be surprised if after the fight with JMM he will be calling ivan calderon. people like him has no place in boxing.
