Anyone else find 24/7 boring?

Its a great marketing tool, but it has the same problems as any so-called "reality" show. No matter how hard you try, you can't ignore the fact that there are 4 cameras in the room.

I remember when we did the 3 episodes of "Ring Life". When Nate told me they were going to shoot him making breakfast in the morning, my first thought was to tell him to make sure that John David's wife cleaned up the kitchen beforehand. lol. Or when I knew they were going to shoot us driving from the hotel to the arena I made sure I got my truck washed. Stuff like that. Dont get me wrong, Ring Life and 24/7 are GREAT for boxing, and the production is top notch, but you cant pretend you dont know the cameras are there, and it does in some way affect what you say and do.

Calzaghe/Jones 24/7 is probably the most boring of the series thus far. I was glad that it was only 3 episodes.

Admittedly, the Mayweathers (Roger, Jr. and Sr.) make it far more interesting than it would otherwise be with all their trash-talking. And the training footage is icing on the cake.

Hatton's third person repetitive jokes got old fast.
Oscar's repeats everything, telling everyone he's at his best.
Pacquiao is a nice guy, but his english isn't the best.
Roach and Floyd Sr. are attention whores.
Floyd Jr. is way too obnoxious.
Roy Jones is delusional.
Calzaghe can only talk about Jeff Lacy.

I think for "hardcore" boxing fans the series is kind of dull, but to the casual fan it's the hottest **** on TV. Everybody who sees it who was not a big boxing fan likes talking about it.

Roger Mayweather on the other hand is fantastic at all times.

Manny Pacquiao is god to the pinoy, ok we get it, he's jesus.
hatton likes to play darts, drink beer and show his ass.

24/7 needs new blood.

You have to remember though, it's to attract people to the fight that might not have seen a past fight with that fighter, that's why it's the same stuff in each one..because people that haven't watched a previous 24/7 with that fighter won't have seen that stuff..

I like 24/7 just like Larry said I like everything Boxing related, and I think Liev Schreiber does an outstanding job with his narrating. I could probably just hear him read the bible and I would tune in.

I love the show. I look at it like this. The worst episodes of 24/7 are still better than alot of crap on tv today. Don't understand the complaining.

After the first 2 episodes the ****z get boring...hearing about Oscar's dogs and Freddie Roach's coffee and ****.

One 24/7 wit Floyd was enough. Floyd shows the same routine. I didn't need to see 4 more episodes against Hatton. Hatton's boring as hell as well.

Pac-Hatton was kinda boring thank God for Floyd Sr.

In my opinion they should make 2 episodes...one weeks before the fight and one RIGHT BEFORE the fight. Both episodes should be an hour in length.
