Solis Blasts Oquendo, Brewster on Chagaev-Valuev Card

In the last couple of weeks it has been quiet around heavyweight sensation Odlanier Solis. After dominating and stopping “Big Man” Kevin Burnett in his US and ESPN debut on January 9th (Solis’ 13th win in as many pro-fights) “La Sombra” suffered a hand injury while preparing for a fight against “Fast” Fres Oquendo. Now the three-time world amateur champion and 2004 Olympic gold medallist is back in training. According to his promoter Ahmet Öner Solis will be back soon and better than ever before in his pro career because the 29-year-old is finally reunited with his former amateur coach Pedro Luis Diaz Benitez. I hope they match Brewster up against a worthwhile opponent. Maybe Brian Minto or Fres Oquendo?..

Kali Meehan is fighting a bum on the Chagaev-Valuev card, Cerrone Fox.

They should have instead had Meehan-Brewster II, especially since Meehan was robbed in their first fight.

Oh, yeah! We all remember in what way did Brewster knocked Wladimir out...

Yeh, we also remember how did he please the crowd in his last fight with Sprott...

And of course, Valuev/Chagaev ias a "highly anticipated the one they want to see" match... It will also please the fans...

Whom is Kali Meehan fighting??? Ugh...

P.S. the only person i want to see on this fight night is Cecilia Braekhus! Female boxing is some kind perverted sport... But i still remember how did she fight on the Abraham-Simon undercard...

this sounds like a good card.the valuev/chagaev crap is getting solved(although I hear the winner gets ruiz).meehan should fight brewster but I understand he will fight a credible opponent.I like the fact an American is fighting out of a European promotion.I think brewster could beat any European heavyweight other than vitali.I'd even like a rubbermatch with wladimir.both brewster fights with wlad he came off 15 month layoffs but now he'd be healthy & have a full training camp.it won't happen thou.wlad has other fish to fry.I want the winner of valuev/chagaev to fight either klit.I'd rather have a 2 headed champion than 3 champs.areolla, haye, dimitrenko, povetkin, chambers are the next fleet of challengers...yikes! After haye & arreola it's weak.solis is on the rise but unproven.he takes out oquendo than he's in the mix too.

Who is Fres Oquendo? Look at who Fres has fought and beat. Look at Solis. Fres accepted to fight the Cuban Gold Medalist in Miami and Solis backed out. Go eat some Tostones La Gordo.
