I was a button user for FN3, but I must say the controls for FN4 are brilliant.
You can get good combos off using the sticks now, and repeat punches much quicker, e.g uppercuts.

Its very hard to get your opponent on the canvas aswell. I've only got the cpu down a few times. The health bars dont go down nearly as quickly as they did in FN3, so there wont be many early round blowouts, unless it comes by luck or skill.

i like how the life meter works in this one. makes the game play center more on momentum. When back to the old school avatar reed?

awesome gameplay... i'm liking it alot.

it's not perfect, but it's as close as we could have hoped for

          two things:
          - i find it hard to throw hooks
          - i can't get the computer down when i get em dizzy

          thanks for the thread OP

How many rounds can you fight in the demo?

And can two people play, or just one vs cpu?

3 rounds but it's easy enough to rematch, none of that restarting the whole demo ****e like they sometimes have

Good luck to those who have got it to work, unlike me who have another 14% of download time.

Yeah its really hard to put them down when they're dizzy. I consider that a good thing though. It was too easy in FN3. The better chances the fights have of going the distance the greater the experience when u actually put someone down. Thats the way it should be I believe.

I've had about 30 fights now probabaly lol and I've only had One KO win, and that came in 2nd round. It was a one punch KO and the CPU couldnt even get up once from it.

Hooks are easy for me now, that's my main punch.

Also, when they are stunned you gotta mix in BODY punches, especially if it's early on in the fight and your opponent is still fresh. If you keep going to the head the CPU is too smart for that and will block.

Also, I found if it's round 3 and you've really been kicking your opponents ass over the period of the fight and you stun them, you can keep throwing a haymaker to the head repeatedly and sometimes, not always, the force of your punch will break through your opponents defense, because they are weak and their block meter is low. Here is an example:

This video doesn't show but prior to that punch I through several right hand haymakers in a row and just pounded away at ricky's defense, his block meter went down to nothing and eventually my punch slipped through. (this is why head movement is important to use because if you just block you'll get f ucked up!)

The demo has been released early for those who pre ordered but here is a gift for the cheap or ones without the time I found out how to get it and its quite simple.

Make a new PSN User and Login as that user.

Once u login go to Sign up for Playstation Network

                      Select use Existing Account

It will ask you for the accounts email address and password put in:

                      fightnight4every1@yahoo.com for the email

                      and

                      123123abc for the password

Once you are in go to the playstation store and go to the top right corner and hit recent downloads and download the demo. Once you download the demo log out and install it while in your regular account
It says invalid email/password? could it be that it had too much dl's already?
