    Maybe ... but my point was that trash talking does not generally indicate that the fighter is scared, hence the examples I gave - it is just a ploy to (a) sell tickets and (b) get inside the other fighter's head.

    In any case, Mayweather has been in several losable fights: his opposition up to Lightweight was very good indeed; and more recently, DLH was thought by most people at the time to be a very risky fight for him, because of the fact that he was moving up to Junior Middleweight and DLH's previous fight had been an impressive win.

      before jermaine taylor fought pavlik, steward said the same **** about how recent fighters made taylor look bad and a true pressure fighter would bring out the best of taylor.....so thats a cause for concern.......chris bird dont even hit like haye so thats not even relevant....
