Gatti was Ricky Hatton with a chin.
How good Arturo Gatti was?

Nah, I'd say Hatton was better.
Although Hatton's resume is thin, his win over Tszyu is better than anything Gatti did. I'd pick an aging Tszyu to damn near kill Gatti. "Death by a thousand right hands" is what I'd envision.
Hatton's only losses thus far are against probably the two greatest fighters of the 00s in Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. Gatti lost to the likes of Ivan Robinson and Angel Manfredy. Hatton was at least semi-competitive with Mayweather, whereas Gatti was absolutely destroyed against the top fighters he faced (although he did manage to give DLH a bloody nose, he was badly outmatched and used as target practice).Comment
