    Common Opponents

(shot 41 y/o RayMercer) (Prime 36 y/o Ray Mercer) LL beat him 5 years earlier
(shot 35 y/o Phil Jackson) (Prime 29 y/o Phil Jackson) LL beat him 6 years earlier
    (Shot 36 y/o Rahman) (Prime 29 y/o Rahman) LL ko'd him 3 rounds quicker
(Old sloppy Botha) (2 years younger Botha) LL ko'd him 6 rounds quicker

In addition to crushing both Klitschko resume's, Lennox also has the distinction of never quitting on his stool and he didnt need an older sibling to help avenge any of his losses. Its really amazing how his brief 44 fight resume' is deeper and richer than the combined 94 fight resume' of both brothers. I like Vitali and Wlad but they just come up short when compared to Lennox Lewis.

Anyone with a brain knows Lennox's resume ****s on both Wlad's and Vitali's. Anyhow, prepare to get ambushed by the "Sensitive Klits".

Wladimir Klitschko stopped at least ten fighters who had never been stopped before.

Wlad was the first to stop:

              1) Axel Shultz, who was robbed of a win over Foreman in a previous fight.
              2) Ray Mercer, and he was also the first to knock him down with a punch to the head.
              3) Monte Barrett (Wlad was also the first to knock Barrett down).
              4) Calvin Brock, a previously undefeated, highly-rated fighter.
              5) Jameel McCline, who had won 19 straight before facing Wlad
              6) Tony Thompson, a very durable fighter who had never been down before
              7) Lamon Brewster (also the first to knock Lamon down, in the first fight)
              8) Charles Shufford had never been stopped before.
              9) Eliseo Castillo was undefeated.
              10) Paea Wolfgramm had never been stopped or even down before, Wlad knocked him out in the first round.

There are others as well, but there's ten examples.

I can only think of three heavyweights Lennox Lewis was the first to stop:

Oliver McCall (but would have gone the distance except for mental problems)
              Andrew Golota
              Michael Grant

So are we overrating Lennox's resume and underrating Wlad's?

Sure, Lennox fought people like Tyson and Holyfield, but they were clearly past their best, and both had been stopped before. Lewis fought Holyfield twice, but couldn't stop him as Rid**** Bowe did.

                  Lennox's resume:

Ray Mercer (Mercer was robbed, he won the fight, later stopped by Wlad)

Michael Grant (he was KOed in the first round by Jameel McCline in his next fight and later by fringe contender Dominic Guinn)

Hasim Rahman (who had been KOed by Maskaev before, and had KOed Lewis in their first fight )

Mike Tyson (a shot fighter who was at a 13" reach disadvantage)

Evander Holyfield (cruiserweight who was past his best, Lennox couldn't stop him like Bowe did)

Vitali Klitschko (Vitali was ahead on the scorecards. How did he get cuts like that?)

Francois Botha (who had already been KOed twice before)

David Tua (Lewis had a 14" reach advantage, but couldn't knock him down)

Andrew Golota (had already shown his mental weakness in his two previous fights with Bowe, was to be stopped early again by a shot Tyson and by Brewster)

Tommy Morrison (overrated fighter, he looked terrible so he was probably HIV positive and/or Hep C positive by then, had previously been KOed twice, once by a clubfighter)

Razor Ruddock (had been KOed twice before, once by journeyman Jaco)

Frank Bruno (British fighter on the level of Matt Skelton, not a world-class heavyweight, had already been KOed three times before)

Shannon Briggs (who had already been KOed by a clubfighter and was later beaten by Sedrick Fields , and by Jameel McCline and Sultan Ibragimov)

                    @TUNNEY

Right now the names and records on Lennox Lewis's resume' stomp the living crap out of both K brothers. As the still-active opponents of Klitschko continue to lose and tarnish their legacies, the disparity of records and big names will only grow over time.

And you keep mentionng Michael Grant...Michael Grant was younger, bigger and undefeated when LL beat him 10 years ago. 10 years have passed and Grant still only has 3 losses and is ranked higher than Calvin Brock, and many other Klitschko opponents in the current standings. Any way you slice it LL comes out on top. You will need to combine a 3rd heavyweight to compete with him tit for tat.
