JMM's never been a big draw, this fight is a great opportunity to make money and a shot at boxing immortality. His old by boxing standard and this is the biggest payday of his life.

His team has a history of ****ing things up for him. He gave in to all of Floyd's concessions, purse split included. I don't blame Marquez though, he's got something to prove and make no mistake, he will be fighting with fire in his belly. and 4 million ain't no chump change either...

its 4x his previous biggest i would think and he gets a shot at beating floyd (which i think is possible) then he will get another huge purse for the pac fight.. as he would have beat mayweather. If he loses against mayweather what has he actually lost?? he will still be the lightweight champ.

Going to Indonesia and getting paid $40k was a ****ty move, I don't see how making a career high payday and getting some great exposure a bad move. He would have made nowhere near that type of dough against anyone else, even against Pacquiao he got like $1.2 million and Pac got like $6 million.

$31,250 was JMM's exact purse against Chris John pain, and they turned down a rematch with Pacquiao were they were asking for 1.5M, which is the entire purse allotted for the rematch, that's the **** up I was talking about.

... and just like what I said, I don't blame him and 4M is no chump change either, but his team could have done a bit better than that, considering Marquez is currently P4P's no. 2 man...
