... and just like what I said, I don't blame him and 4M is no chump change either, but his team could have done a bit better than that, considering Marquez is currently P4P's no. 2 man...
Well he might be getting an extra cut from the Mexican Television money, we really don't know how much he will exactly take home until the gate, ppv get all added up.

And being P4P#2 doesn't guarantee huge paydays, Ricardo Lopez was always hovering in the Top 2-3 P4P and his biggest career payday was like 100k.

Fighters in JMM weight class don't make much money unless of course you are Pacman. He will be getting what he wanted, the biggest payday of his life and I have a strong feeling if he loses to Mayweather, this is the last we will see of JMM.

The difference is, Lopez is fighting in the midget division where nobody's interested to see, or even know, while Marquez is in a division, give or take a few pounds, where there's a lot of money to be made. If you gave the current P4P champ all he could handle and more, it could have translated to some more green in his future fights, is all I'm saying...

The thing though is he lost against the P4P King, if he would have got the nod he would no doubt have been making more money..This is win/win situation for Marquez though, if he loses(very likely) he's fighting a bigger man and he can go back down to lightweight or even 140 and fight maybe Hatton.

For all the praise Top Rank gets they never got Marquez the type of money fights that Golden Boy has been able too, even against Diaz and Casamayor I think Marquez made a million or close to that.

Marquez might be makin 4 million in this fight but I think he'll be fightin like somebody stole somethin from him and that's the truth. He's tired of bein in the shadow of all the big-name fighters of his time, and he's gonna use this opportunity to shine. The guy is a great fighter and he'll put up a good performance win or lose.

I don't believe Floyd will be getting 15 million.
