Hatton Should Have Pulled Out From Pacquiao Fight?

I know you did but they are not one person and you appear to think they are. Ray has been making excuses, Ricky has not. But you claimed that when Ray says something, they are both saying it, which is obviously untrue. And you also implicitly claimed in your previous post that they were both knocked out by Pacquiao, which is also obviously untrue.
No he hasn't, he said he under-performed, which he did; but he hasn't made any excuses for under-performing, and it's his own fault that he under-performed. And he said he hasn't come to terms with the severity of his loss yet or even watched the fight.
You haven't been listening then:
"You have to give credit to Manny Pacquiao at the end of the day, you can pull all the excuses out of the air but it was a fantastic performance."Last edited by Dave Rado; 05-14-2009, 12:23 PM.Comment

You're not responding to anything I wrote in the post you were replying to either, so I don't know what post of mine you think you're referring to. Are you referring to Ray's excuses in the main article? If so, I have never defended those.Comment

yeah true, which is why I take all the post fight ""s with a grain of saltI think Ricky is a man of exception character, and I'll always be a big fan of his. But I think Silencers is just pointing out that he has excuses or "explanations" even for fights he wins in. Which suggests a trend in his post fight behavior. The hattons are probably just freaking out b/c he got beat so badly it almost looks as though Hatton didn't even belong on the same stage as Pacquiao.
as im sure Ricky really doesn't think Manny is a little bit better then him
Hatton prob said that as damage control.Comment

They must stop making excuses and accept the fact that Ricky lost to a better boxer. Now, boxing fans are looking at the way Ricky handles the setback he took from Pacquiao. Instead of making excuses, they should look at the mistakes they did during the preparation and rectify it. They are doing more damage to Ricky's reputation (of accepting defeat like a MAN) for trying very hard to justify Ricky's poor performance. Let it go... please...Comment

I agree, except that I think Ricky should retire. They must stop making excuses and accept the fact that Ricky lost to a better boxer. I got an excuse. Kenny Bayless counted to 10 to fast. He should have counted to 10 minutes not seconds. Hatton's excuse is I can't move my head and Manny is to fast. Let me beat up on B level opponents.
Hatton should go fight JR. Witter ASAP.Comment
