    I think he will carry on as long as the big fights keep rolling in. If he retires in October then he only has room for 1 more fight.

    He still has the possibilities of Cotto, Mayweather, Marquez 3 and Valero to fight.

      I'd have no problem if he retires in October (apart from not seeing him fight again), as long as he fights Mayweather before then!
      He's wanted to get properly involved in politics for a while now, and if he fights (and beats) Floyd, with all due respect to all the other possable opponents, no-one else can add THAT much to his legacy.
      He's gonna retire as a great regardless of what happens, how great will depend on the inevitable Floyd fight result.
      Good luck to him, I've no problems with fighers who retire in good health.
