Pacquiao better not retire in Octoboer.

If these accusations are true than now matter who his next fight is with he better not retire afterwards. He has got to many good tough fights available to retire at this time. If people want to talk about him being better than Henry Armstrong then he better stick around and beat the rest of the top fighters out there like Mosely, Berto, and most of all Mayweather. If he does not I think he is ducking these guys because he would lose. Beating a shot and dehydrated De La Hoya and a ruined Ricky Hatton and destroying a slow underclassed David Diaz and fighting a to close to call fight with Marquez are great accomplishments but not enough for him to retire and secure his place in the top 20 ATG.

Yea, there's still some good fights he can do before he walks.

I think Pac deserves to go out after his next fight. He doesn't owe someone like Mayweather anything or Cotto, or Arum. He gave the fans 15 years of excitement, and if he goes out the way he wants, then so be it.

I personally would like him to see Cotto and him ****, and win or lose retire.

Manny has made it very clear for a year now that he only wants to fight 1-3 more times and its done. He has alot of things outside of boxing he wants to do.

What's with all the fighters in their peak prime retiring?! Why not make the most of the talent you got now instead of coming back in a few years and ruining your legacy.

Everybody want's to watch him fight now, so why retire?

                  1. He will fight Mayweather regardless of whether he fights someone else 1st. The worldwide demand for it is overwhelming. And unlike Mayweather...Pacquiao actually gives his fans what they want regardless of how big of a disadvantage and how bad of a style matchup it is for him.

                  2. He doesnt necessarily have to fight both Cotto and Mosley. If Cotto vs Mosley 2 happens...it would be to unify belts. Then Pacquiao could end up facing the winner of that matchup for the undisputed and linear welterweight championship.

                  3. Juan Diaz is scheduled to fight in August. His opponent is still unnamed and it could very well be David Diaz. If he beats Juan Diaz will that change your perception of him and how good of a win it is for Pacquiao?
