I understand your committment to alphabet titles giving your status with a promoter. But as long as Manny fights and has a possibility to fight again at 140 relatively soon, then he is THE CHAMPION and can't lose that status anywhere but in the ring or by his own words of vacating. Let him challenge for other titles or fight big fights at catchweights. He is the man at 140 even if all his fights aren't there. He has earned that right. There are several other good fights to be made at that weight, like your man Nate with anybody, especially Timothy Bradley. But they are just jockeying for position to fight Manny. Bradley has esstablished himself as the number 2 man in the division quite well, and it's a shame he isn't a bigger draw. I would like to see Nate and Timothy lock horns. Hell I would like to see Nate in the ring soon. I enjoy talking to him after the fights all the time, the man seems to never miss a event here in Florida. I've seen him everywhere from Pensacola to Miami, and he watches EVERY fight on the card. Anyways I digress. Lineal champions actually mean something unlike any alphabet strap regardless if the champion fights every fight in the prescribed weightclass or not. Clarity comes from that mindset and enjoying boxing is so much easier as well. I'll leave dealing with those useless sanctioning bodies with you guys. Im proud to say im done with that side of the business.

I did mention it in another post but it just got ignored I think think.Comment

Judah gets title opportunities because he is probably one of the most marketable fighters around, to most contenders and new champions a win over Judah seems to solidify them being Champions.
Thats probably why he gets all these opportunities, and also i think Judah will knockout Bailey, he needs to be focused and he will pull of a win.Last edited by King_Krunky; 05-14-2009, 10:29 AM.Comment

Damned - the reason Adamek did not take the $500,000 was that this was not a half a mil for him but to the whole camp. So he had to split that eith Main Events, Rogalski ( his other promoter), trainers and everyone else. i read an interview with Adamek and he said that if He would get half a mil from that then he would take the fight. Hopkins simply never wanted that fight from begining.Comment
