For the IBF title or not, who cares. The champion at 140 is now Manny Pacquiao and trinket titles have lost what little luster they had. If you remember that fact then Judah/Bailey becomes just a good support fight for us to enjoy. As for Adamek, the man draws. He drew 5-6k in Kissimee Florida where boxing is pretty much non-existent and 6k against Cunningham. Steve drew about 5 to that fight. Adamek is the champion at cruiserweight and Main Events is doing an incredibly smart thing keeping him busy and visible. If Adamek gets by whoever he fights (hopefully Godfrey) and Wlodarcyzk gets by Fragomeni, then a HUGE fight in Poland could be made between the two later in the year. Good for both guys if it happens

Bradley is possible, but Shaw would want options since Nate isnt a mando. That's a deal breaker. King mentioned Barerra (as a one-off fight), but I doubt that is realistic. Odds are we will wait till after May 30 and see what Urango is gonna do after the Berto fight (if he's gonna vacate or not). There's always Hatton, the Ortiz-Madiena winner, the Khan-Kotelnik winner, or god knows who, but we'll find something. There's alot of possibilities at 140.........
I love any of the above but Barrera!

Dawson Tarver was indeed very boring... It seems like Dawson is not putting the necessary effort into his performances failing to realize you need to be exciting to generate interest. Adamek should have it easier to find a fight at any of those networks. Maybe a rematch with Dawson... Certainly it wouldn't get turned down would it?

Hopefully the Mayweather-JMM undercard won't be as weak as the Hatton-Manny undercard.

That is somewhat meaningless because he isn't going to defend that title against anyone who doesn't bring $10 million to the table, whether they are a deserving challenger or not.

And these guys bouncing around division shopping for the highest payday at made-up weights certainly doesnt provide any clarity within the divisions. Why bother ranking Pac, JMM, or Mayweather in any rankings other than p4p, because they have no intention of defending those other titles.

How many defenses did Pac make of the WBC 135 title? Zero
How many defenses did JMM make of the WBO 135 title? Zero
How many defenses will Pac make of the Ring 140 title? Most likely Zero

How is this helpful to anything? And if the titles truly dont matter, then why do these guys keep fighting for them and clogging up the system?

You can add bhop and calzaghe to that list. Pavlik does it a little. I hate it. Especially when the fighter claims to be king of a division. I'm my opinion Bradley is the man to beat at 140. Pac is just passing through. The best fighter in a division should fight different people and contenders in that division, like adamek does, Hopkins used to do, juan Diaz tried to do, etc.

Atleast Zab vs Bailey could have some slight signifigance to it. I don't understand noone wanting to pick up an Adamek fight. Adamek vs Johnson would be awesome. If Adamek VS Cunningham was on VS, why don't they just pick up his next fight?

Not pickin up Adamek vs Glen is some bull**** man. If that fight does fall through the cracks though then that might put the pressure on Chad to rematch Johnson like we want him too. It would look bad on him if he didn't.
