When did you become addicted to boxing?

For me it Morales Barrera. After that fight I knew I would watch forever. I watched a good amount before that, don't get me wrong, I've seen a lot. But Morales-Barrera will always be the fight that got me hooked.

Unbelievable action. True warriors. And that sort of unrefined shine that great boxing matches often have.

What was the fight/moment that got you addicted to boxing?

Holyfield-Bowe, I watched it with my dad. I was pretty young so I didnt always know fights were on but if I saw a fight on I watched it.

If those fights dont get you hooked, I don't know what will. Them boys left everything in the ring and the rivalry was real as real can get.

But it brought many people into the sport wether it was by active participation or spectator.

                  "Rocky" got me into boxing.

I saw it when I was somewhere around 8 or 9.

Then I wanted to start watching real fights, and I did around 10 or so.

Got into Joe Frazier pretty heavily, to the point that I talk about him to my friends and family constantly.

A neighbor found out about my admiration of Frazier, and showed me some some VHS tapes of other Philadelphia fighters like Meldrick, Saad, and he showed me B-Hop/Mercado II.

I've followed B-Hop's career ever since, and then, around 14, I just started watching everything.
