Unfourtanetly....
Clottey has a BIG chance to RUIN the Cotto/Mayweathre/Pacman fun.
II think Clottey will beat Cotto....
Hes bigger.
Stronger.
Has a good chin.
Sound familiar so far?
Ill continue....
He goes to the body...he throws quick combos( triple left hooks at times.....)
He jabs...he pressures at times....
Cotto wont be able to hurt him....
Cotto will be out weighed by at least 5-10 pounds come fight night.Comment

As A Cotto fan, I See this being a tough fight for Cotto and for Clottey. Clottey is tough and has good defense but I don't think he's very active enough to beat Cotto on points. I think Cotto wears him down boxing him most of the time adding in body shots to get a UD. But this fight is a sleeper that can be big.Comment

I definitely think Cotto will win an 8-4 across the board-type UD.
But Clottey is a VERY live dog.Comment

I think all this stuff with switching trainers and having a mega fight with Pac looming might cause Cotto to lose. I would make him the slight favorite without this stuff going on around him. Though I also have to factor in that there is no way in hell that a close fight will be awarded to Clottey. Even fight in my mind but something is telling me Clottey by late stoppageComment

Clottey has only a very minimum chance- and that's because in boxing, almost anything can happen. Judah was much less a fighter when Clottey beat him than he was when Cotto TKO'd him back in 2007. Clottey's win over Corrales was nice, but he was only able to "hang" with the post-plaster Margarito.
Compare to Cotto: Should be undefeated, but was beat around by loaded Margarito gloves... Carlos Maussa, Lovemore N’Dou, Randall Bailey, Demarcus Corley, Ricardo Torres, Paulie Malignaggi, Carlos Quintana, Zab Judah, Shane Mosley and Antonio Margarito. Those are the 10 men Cotto has fought who have won world titles, and 9 of them he has defeated. Only Margarito leaves a questionable loss on Cotto's record.
Clottey doesn't stand a chance, regardless of who is training Cotto.Comment
