Dawson fights nothing like Calzaghe at all, and IMO Hopkins won that fight.

        Hopkins by epic UD schooling.

What does Hopkins do in a fight w/ Dawson that he did not with Taylor or Calzaghe to get a wide UD as some as you think?
Dawson is nowhere near Calzaghe's level, first off.

Secondly, Dawson doesn't like angles and lateral movement. Plus he's chinny, and Hopkins might have enough power to wobble him a bit.

Hopkins causes Dawson problems with his defense, ring smarts, counter punching and power.

Dawson causes Hopkins trouble with his workrate, speed and size.

If Dawson can stick to his gameplan, keep pressure on Hopkins and is able to withstand Hopkins rough house tactics, sneaky counters and big right hands he could win a close decision.

Dawson does seem to lose focus in fights which is not good when you fighting a guy like Hopkins, Hopkins power and counters could surprise Dawson and a knockdown wouldn't surprise me.

If i had to pick a winner i would pick Hopkins. I just feel that Hopkins power, defense, counters and rough house tactics would seriously frustrate Dawson and Dawson isn't a guy who seems to adapt in the ring well.

Dawson does have a chance though as i stated above.

I honestly don't think Dawson would be able to keep his cool after he keeps walking into traps, and gets cut by sneaky headbunts and short inside shots.

I just realized that Marti (Hyperion) used the same .gif of Hopkins/Tarver for both of our sig videos.

What a lazy prick that guy is..........

Hopkins is way too skilled and classy of a fighter in the mind for Dawson, i still question Dawsons mental game.

                  Agreed.

He looked like a child who had been caught masturbating, when Glenn Johnson was roughing him up.

Against Hopkins, he's liable to break down into tears when 'Nard goes Philly on his ass.
