Hopkins prevents opponents from punching him+has a good defense. Mayweather actually can let his opponents punch themselves out on him.

I was wandering about Hopkins' chin earlier today, I cant remember him ever been hit flush. (Havent seen the RJJ fight so I dunno if he managed it). Can anyone tell me, or even better provide a clip, of Hopkins taking anything more than a jab in the face? I wanna see what his reaction was

have u seen Hatton fight? the man always got hit on his way in, Hopkins doesnt. Thats why I like Ricky and dont like Hopkins, more entertaining.

Mayweather's style is more appealing to most fans.

But Hopkins does some very subtle things to take away his opponet's advantages, that he rarely ever gets credit for.

I say this is a draw. It just depends on your personal tastes and what you look for in defense.
