is it possible pacquiao was weight drained against marquez?

which explains how he has suddenly exploded out of nowhere at 135+? he's a much, much better fighter now at the higher weights which was really unexpected. was making weight killing him and his performances? i think so.. he had to lose 2 lbs on the day of the weigh in to make 135 and only stayed there once.

Sure it's possible. This has been discussed before.

boxasmash, I have thought the same as you (for ages now). He put in a few poor performances towards the end of his stint at 130 -- both Marquez fights and Barrera II (which was just boring, more than anything). After 130 he went to 135 and looked like a totally different fighter.

I also agree -- at 140 he stops or KO's JMM.

Not at all. Marquez is better than any of the guys Pacquiao fought at 135+. He came in at 146 against Marquez in the rematch, he didn't seem drained at all. MAYBE you guys should give credit where it is due, and embrace the fact that it was Marquez that made Pacquiao look bad, and not the weight. Pacquiao sure as hell wasn't drained in their first fight, and why was it that he looked even worse in that one? Common guys. I am a huge fan of both Pacquiao and Marquez, but give credit where it is due.

And at 140 Pacquiao vs Marquez would be just as close as their first two fights.

It could be possible. I remember somewhere in between the 10th and 12th rounds that Pacquiao spit out his mouthpiece. I thought that might be from fatigue. I don't remember which round it was though. I also scored the 10th round clearly for Manny. Even though I had Marquez winnin the fight the first time I watched it this fight by no means was a robbery. I just thought Marquez won more individual rounds barrin the knockdown. When I look at the fight though I have to give Pacquiao more credit for damage done. This topic has been beat to death and that's why we need a rubber match after Dinamita spanks Moneyless May's ass in July.

Yesssssssssss!!! I watch the Paq/JMM II fight for the first time today and i said to someone on here earlier that paq seem to be missing or lacking something, I didnt see the weigh-in but his body might have outgrown 135...140 seem a perfect weigh for him.
