Bull**** thread. Another insecure Packy fan trying to come up w/ excuses why Packy cant beat Marquez.

I'll say it again Packylover, the reason Packy "exploded" out when he moved up is cuz he FOUGHT DAVID ****ING DIAZ.

I don't remember which round it was though. I also scored the 10th round clearly for Manny. Even though I had Marquez winnin the fight the first time I watched it this fight by no means was a robbery. I just thought Marquez won more individual rounds barrin the knockdown. When I look at the fight though I have to give Pacquiao more credit for damage done. This topic has been beat to death and that's why we need a rubber match after Dinamita spanks Moneyless May's ass in July.

That was round 10, I also score that round to Manny P.

Of course not. Marquez is a totally different style then Pacquiao, who not only can match him for work rate, but has great timing with his counters to off set Pacquiao. There's a reason why he's a more cautious fighter.

It's not him being drained, it's him being more cautious and Marquez being a better fighter.

Pacquiao sure as hell wasn't drained in their first fight, and why was it that he looked even worse in that one? Common guys. I am a huge fan of both Pacquiao and Marquez, but give credit where it is due.

And at 140 Pacquiao vs Marquez would be just as close as their first two fights.

Now thats a big sign of a weight-drain fighter, Which means he probably walks around at 155ish, And he would have been killing himself to lose 20Ib to cut weigh down to 135...so he was 146 on fight night??? that confirms it for me then.

Excuse. Those two could fight at 200 pounds and the fights would always look the same.

Nah, Pac's opponents haven't been fighting him as intelligently as JMM did.

Thats all well and good. You're in the vast majority. But by playing into this notion that he was weight drained it sounds like you give it credence.
This is revisionist history of the worst kind.
If Packy was really that troubled with making weight then he shouldnt have taken the fight.

Packy fans just have a deep insecurity about this match up and will do anything to try and justify reason why JMM fights dont look like fights against Diaz, Oscar and Hatton.

Its the same reason Packy's team would rather not do the PBF fight. The know he fares better against one dimensional come forward types. In Oscars case Roach obviously knew he was done so they took the fight.

Unfortunately for Packy, the Floyd matchup already has a cultural inertia behind it so it is doubtful that outside of blatantly ducking Floyd, that Packy can avoid this fight.

Well, that or JMM' pulling the upset and spoiling their best laid plans.

                    I hope for the latter.

Pac and Marquez are so evenly matched, i dont think it has to do with anything, just that there both extremely compettiive with each other.
