Why did people read in so much on Hatton's win over Malignaggi?

Just google it. It was talked about before and during the fight.
Are you serious? No wonder Hatton looked so good :lmfao:
Like I said, I did not pay too much attention to that fight because I knew Paulie was over rated. I wont take away the fact that Paulie has tremendous heart though. If Floyd had half the balls Paulie has, Floyd would be great. To bad floyd has balls the size of a mustard seed :lmfao:

That's exactly what I kept saying in posts when people said, look how good Hatton did against a fast boxer like Paulie. A.) Paulie ain't fast B.) Paulie hits with pillows. let's throw in a C for fun. C.) Paulie was overrated boxer by far. The opposite of A,B, and C got into Hatton's head, and he actually thought he had a chance against Manny. Was a huge miscalculation on his part.

To answer the thread starters question:
Paulie's style was meant to be Hattons worst nightmare, a lot of people picked Paulie to win because of this alone.
He was the rings no1 contender; next best in the division.
        was never stopped before
        had/has a huge heart
Before the fight everyone knew he hit about as hard as my 90 year old granny, so when he didnt throw his right hand it was a non-issue
He had Paulie holding on for dear life everytime he hit him
Add all of the above together, and then concider the ease of which Hatton won. I think he only lost won round, and becaome the first to stop him, even though it was a controversial one.
Hatton showing evidence of boxing rather than brawling after only a month of Snr's training, high expectation of what was to come after a full 3 months with snr.
It was Hattons first good performance since his stint at welterweight, put notions of him being past prime/shot to sleep.

thats the answer to your question.
Truth be told, in hindsight, it meant sweet FA.
