Funny, trying to use Hopkins name because writers and others think he looked less than lackluster Saturday night. Thats sad.

Yeah, Hopkins is afraid of Chad.

The same guy who just looked like **** against a guy Hopkins schooled almost 3 years ago.

The same guy who barely sc****d a decision against Glenn Johnson, a dude Hopkins TKO'd 10 years ago in his prime.

You know Johnson was not hurt at all when he was TKO'd by Hopkins stoppage was questionable. But this is good buildup to this fight that should get made this year. There's no appeal to a fight w/ Froch because we already seen what he did to Pavlik. Trinidad hasn't fought since Jones Jr. I don't want Hopkins to get anymore critcism then he has already gotten from fans. The fight would be for the Ring LHW title too and be the first person established in the division that he will fight.

hopkins is 44 years old. calling him out makes Dawson's camp look pathetic. Same said calling out Calzaghe. Dawson needs to fight fighters closer to his age and quit picking on 40 year old fighters

I wish Bhop would just reconsider and whoop Chad's ass, cuz Chad ain't gonna rematch Glen.

I stopped reading when you said Hopkins' TKO of Johnson was questionable.

You clearly haven't watched that fight, at all.

That's probably the fight you want to watch if you want to see what Hopkins was capable of in his prime.

He absolutely punished Johnson with a multitude of punches all night long.

The referee stopped it on accumulation.

As for Hopkins/Dawson ; I already told everybody who would listen, Hopkins is retired.

He just doesn't know it yet.

There's nobody out there right now that offers him the kind of money that he wants, and neither Dawson, nor Adamek, nor Froch do very much for his legacy at all, aside from another title. Not to mention that nobody cares about Dawson (after Saturday's performance), Adamek, or Froch - they don't have big followings.

They also don't offer him the motivation to put his 44 year old body through yet another grueling training camp.

                He's done.

I seen Hopkins-Johnson, when I say questionable. I don't mean not warranted, but some refs would have let fight continue. I mean he wasn't dropped and staggering. But I agree he should retire if he doesn't want to take this fight. The longer he waits the more questioning and pressure he will recieve.
