By the way.... Cotto is not a straight up fighter.... the kid can box. If not ask Mosley, I'm sure still has flashbacks of Cottos Jab hitting him in the face. And as beautiful as Pacmans right hooks is in the inside, Cotto has a wonderful Left hook as well.

I agree that the fight will be more exciting and has more questions marks.... but they are going for Egoweather and this is just smoke and mirrors.

I third this. I hope Manny takes the Cotto fight. This will force Floyd to face Shane with the winner fighting Pac. Shane will KO Floyd! Cotto has a hard head, but his chin is not that tough. I see Pac beating Cotto in a war. Pac vs Shane in 2010! Shane KO's Pac in 6!

U misunderstood rookie! Hard core boxing fans appreciate Skills & heart.
Hardcore boxing fans like PBF because he has the best Skills in the sport!
Team pacq dont want that fight really due to the disparity in SKILLS!
They want some one with limited skills that they can punch at will! Size means nothing when you keep getting hit in the face! Ask Hatton and Oscar and Diaz!

Now if this aint cherry picking at its obvious level then I dont know what is. at least pbf dressed it up with records and story lines. Looks like team pacq and arum know the smoke spewing from the hype train is about to run out!

So, when a bull**** fighter say's (no he's not marketable/doesn't own his own promotion company/doesn't call me out/doesn't sell enough tickets) If that's not one undefeated champion ducking another, I don't know what that is!

I want him to fight Mayweather next but if he doesn't it will have to be Mosley and I've been wanting to see this fight for a longtime. I think the Cotto boys should be shaking in their boots because Pac is not playing around.

Really? I guess you didn't bother watching either fight then because he knocked Marquez down 4 times in their two fights....

What Manny lacks in boxing skill he makes up for in sheer athletic talent. Marquez IMO is the best pound4 pound pure boxer in the sport today but he isn't the natural athlete that Manny is and runs the risk of getting KO'd any time he fights Manny.

It's a testament to JMM skills he went the full 12 rounds with Manny twice but don't think Manny isn't a ***in beast.....

Where is your proof? You are just spewing nonsense. Floyd would have made 8 to 10x's more to fight DLH. Cotto doesnt bring much to the table... Its fine to be a fan of Cotto but dont be delusional. I havent seen or heard one comment where ANY boxer has refused to fight Cotto.

Sounds like they are jerking with Mayweather, and by the cherpings of his many fanboys, it sounds like its having the desired effect. Whats funny is if Pacquiao does fight Cotto Floyd and his manfriends are screwed as there is no fight out there for him.

Floyd will be forced to either fight a legit 147 fighter (Mosley is the only one with high enough stature, since Cotto will be fighting Pac), expose his nature by dragging up another smaller guy to fight, or just chill out until it all plays out, at which time Pacquiao (assuming he beats Cotto, and thats a BIG assumption) will still be in the drivers seat, because he will still have plenty of options not named Floyd or Cotto will prevail and Floyd would be looking at having to fight him.

Have another thought here, but I will probably turn it into a thread of its own later on.

Floyd don't want, no part of Shane!!!

Floyd would rather retire if he has to fight Cotto or Shane before getting a crack at the Pac.

                  TOO MUCH RISK.

If there was ever any doubt that they were hand picking one style of fighter for Manny that doubt is gone now. WTF to the last paragraph as well?

certainly wasn't self serving on the part of Camp Pacquiao..... Guess its possible to be too honest.
