that's fine....floyd can look for another payday while the rest of the world watches PAC-Cotto.....sounds like a plan

First off, I love Cotto, I really do.He's second in my list. I have his signature ecko jacket and sport it with pride when I take it out, but you have to admit that even after 2 years he doesnt have a big fanbase like Tito did. We are not living in the past homie, this is the present and in boxing today what talks is Money.

Love him or hate him Mayweather brings in Money to the table when he fights. So if anyone deserves more money it would be him. I'm just saying the truth so no need to get mad doggie.

By those figures you have to agree 70/30 is fair. Still Pac's biggest payday, he wont make that much with anyone else, he NEEDS Floyd!!!!

For the record, Mayweather said that he would fight Cotto if he ever had a big fan base. Like Tito, but he doesn't so he don't make business sense.
Cotto is without a doubt one of the sport's biggest stars. People are ignorant to think nobody knows who Cotto is at this point otherwise you're watching Boxing through a peep hole.

If Cotto vs Floyd were announced say for a Sept showdown, you're telling me the buzz wouldn't be crazy or that it wouldn't sell through the roof?

I find it hilarious that people who won't see a dime of that money use it as a way to shield a fighter from fighting a prospective fight. *sigh*

But hey, two warriors willing to put it on the line for legacy is what this sport needs. Not assumptive 'ATG' hiding behind the notion that a fighter needs to build up his PPV sales before he enters the ring.

Here's hoping to an actual Pac/Cotto trilogy

Larryx, it has alwayz been like that. They wanted to fight Soto, someone Guzman outclassed, then they wanted EM a 3rd time, rather then Zamir Raheem a guy who beat him, they're looking for the typical Manny opponent, defenseless brawler, JMM doesn't fall under that category and we saw what Marquez did

Bro seriously do you think PBF did those numbers because of his fame? or more like DLH carry those numbers for the fight? Everyone knows those numbers belong to DLH even more proof? What special Mexican holiday was celebrated that same weekend? Exactly.... cinco de mayo....get it right before you post!

Floyd gave an order to Cotto and he couln't accomplished it even after 2 years.

And Manny don't want to fight Cotto, he's just making that lie up the dam midget...

Whose the runner now? So according to this article, he admits fighting Mayweather is a losing cause and apparently not good for elections because we all know how boxing is importing to elections...

In any case, if Pacman brings Cotto down to 140, he stands a good chance of winning. If he moves back up, I'd give Cotto the edge.
