All I am saying is moving down in weight is usually bad for fighters. I'd rather witness a smaller man beat a bigger man (at least they can both be in their best shape) than a dehydrated man beating a healthy man, that's not a great achievement, it's like beating up old ppl.

When did this catchweight bull**** start?

    Is it Lalonde-Leonard?

I want to see two true warriors go toe to toe and Pac/Cotto would make a great fight! Both the Phillipino and Puerto Rican fans are the great and would create a huge build-up. Cotto is 5'7" on a good day, Pac 5'6-1/2". Pac now Holds the belt at 140lbs and Cotto has been there done that. It's time to see if Pac can go up to 147lbs and earn a belt there. I respect both fighters and who ever comes out on top then can go whoop Floyd Jr.'s @ss!
Boxing has weight classes not height classes.

Cotto is only an inch taller.....

But will be a 160 pounds on fight night.

        MISMATCH.

Cotto/Pac is the fight people want to see. No one wants to see a boring @ss Pac/May fight.

step outside PR to see what fight ppl want to see. And now that I think of it, even my rican friends said they really wanted to see Pac-PBF. Cotto was not mentioned for a while in that conversation...

It's very strange how Pac fans (and Roach) are now finding reasons not to fight Mayweather.

I have been all over the continental U.S, and even overseas. If people want to see an explosive fight then it's Cotto/Pac...May/Pac will be boring.

These are the symptoms of a STAN not a fan. If you don't want your fighter facing the consensus best, you aren't being a true fan.
