    cotto is a small welterweight.

cotto is 5'7 and comes in around 155-160 lbs.

that's a small welterweight in modern standards.

remember when castillo use to come in at 135 at 5'7 155 lbs.?

a big welterweight woud be about 6 ft. and 160-170 lbs.

I want to see two true warriors go toe to toe and Pac/Cotto would make a great fight! Both the Phillipino and Puerto Rican fans are the great and would create a huge build-up. Cotto is 5'7" on a good day, Pac 5'6-1/2". Pac now Holds the belt at 140lbs and Cotto has been there done that. It's time to see if Pac can go up to 147lbs and earn a belt there. I respect both fighters and who ever comes out on top then can go whoop Floyd Jr.'s @ss!
So because Floyd said Pacquiao is too small to beat him, Pacquiao should go fight Cotto whom is bigger than Mayweather?

I wouldn't consider Cotto that small at welterweight, but he isn't that big at welterweight either, just about in between (that's in my opinion though, yours is obviously different).

            guys are so big now.

it's not like before where guys at welterweight actually were 141-147.

nowadays guys like tito and oscar's size are the average.

After the Hatton/Pacman fight I was wearing my Hatton/FLoyd fight shirt in Vegas and the casual fan would ask me........

              When is Floyd fighting Pacman?

This fight would be as big as Trinidad vs De La Hoya..in my opinion

Cotto walks about 170ish, He isnt tall like the williams but he has a bigger frame and the older he gets the more bigger he gets thats why he looked like a ghost in his last fights at 140...People like Castillo,Corrales use to kill themselves for years just to fight at a low-weight against smaller guys.

Cotto vs Pac makes great sense. Both are the same size but style match ups are do for an amazing fight.

Floyd vs pac wouldnt be as entertaining hands down. When has any Floyd fight been entertaining at all?

Had Cotto-SSM been ruled a 6-6 draw or 7-5 SSM, I wouldn't argue. That to me means Cotto won, but did not beat him decisively. And SSM is now #1 in the WW division. Surely that should piss Cotto off since he's got a win on him. And the fight was a good one. Why not a rematch if he beats Clottey? And Cpac ain't the same size as Cotto homey. He gets blasted in that fight. The DLH massacre fools cats into thinkin Pac can take elite prime WW's. Mr boat buyer has had some excitin performances, just too bad they weren't in his most spotlighted fights.
