I get what your saying, but there shouldn't be any excuses if they fought at 147 either if they weigh the same on fight night at both weights. Doesn't bother me whether its at 140 or 147... I am just saying, you get what I mean?

That's all I am saying, if its at 140 that's fine... but I am just saying you can't go on like it makes a difference at 140 or 147 because it makes no difference in the fight night weight. Do you understand?
i understand. Lets just throw out weight classes and limits!

of course there should be excuses, the only reason manny would fight mayweather at 147 is because mayweathers a coward. I bet you'd make excuses if mayweather lost to a bigger guy like kirkland when there about the same size, but that doesn't make the fair right. the fact that floyd didn't even want to fight marquez at 143 shows how scared he is. Now if he fights pacquiao he'll have to fight him atleast at 143 and that something he didn't want to happen.

Kinda agree with that statement, For Baldomir is the only real WW he has ever fought, Judah isnt a big WW, Mitchell isnt either..

And how is it fair for a guy who hasnt fought for 18 months to comback and fight at 140 a weigh he hasnt fought in for 4 years??

                (1) He called Mayweather out
                (2) Mayweather is a bigger name

Now please answer my question on why YOU seem to want Mayweather to go to 140 for a fighter like JMM?

Kirkland would out weight Mayweather on fight night... Pacquiao and Mayweather would weigh the same. No excuses whether being at 140 or 147... do you understand the whole day before weigh-in thing? After Pacquiao makes weight he bloats to 148, Mayweather weighs 148 for his welterweight bouts so I assume the same thing is for him (as I said unless his body has changed through the lay-off).

I am saying, 140 is fine, but it is no different than 147 IN THIS CASE. However this is only if Mayweathers body hasn't changed through the lay-off, strange things can happen.

Anyway, like I said... of Mayweather beats JMM convincingly then beats Pacquiao, I would like to see him fight Cotto or Mosley.
