Hopkins let a guy like Calzaghe take him to a SD loss. He was winning the fight and then gassed out.

What a boring fight! Tarver looked his age and Dawson lacks the luster of a Star in the making. The kid can box but boy is his style boring!

Funny but I remember 3 fights ago a 40 year old Glen Johnson BEATING Dawson from pillar to post ,hurting him in at least 3 different rounds ,getting robbed and now forgotten.Dawson since has had 2 fights with ANOTHER 40 YEAR OLD in Tarver.By the way Hopkins dominated Tarver far WORSE than Dawson.So Dawsons last 3 fights have been against 3 40 year olds.Still Calzaghe at 37 (not exactcy prime considering he turned pro at 21) gets all this crap

The obvious choice for Dawson's next opponent: the actual lineal 175 champ: Zsolt Erdei. Remember that in this division Roy Jones was the consensus champ but never made it official by fighting Darius Michaeleski.

But he did against Calzaghe???

NO,he was simply dominated in the end of the fight.


I hope Hop fights Dawson.And if Dawson beats Hopkins(not really sure),maybe Calzaghe will unretire for a huge event.

my thoughts exactly brah. dawson has great skill physically he's great, he has great tools, but there is something missing w/ chad. That "it" quality is not there. Kirkland has it as does linares, but its missing from chad. Hurts the fact that he cant get a big name to fight him , he just has to continue winning & win in more exciting fashion than this saturday.
