The Chad Dawson VS Antonio Tarver Live Thread
This is the "forgotten" fight. Not for me. I will have the popcorn and soda within reach. I would like to see Dawson KO Tarver but in all honesty Tarver is a dangerous dude so who the **** knows what will happen. This is about as even of a fight as you can get. Who else will be watching with me?

I'll be watching - I expect and hope Dawson can win convincingly, possibly by a 7th-8th round stoppage. Then - Hopkins v. Dawson in a few months.Comment

I think it's a mismatch. I honestly don't think Tarver has much pop left on his punches. Not much of a punchers chance in my eyes. Tarver has had his day.
Even when he was kicking Woods arse, he never hurt him, and he was gulping air in that fight even though he was allowed to do as he pleased.
If Tarver wins I would be utterly stunned. I find it hard to give Tarver a chance really.Comment

It should be good. We all know that Tarver is going to bring his A game because he knows that this is his last shot on the big stage. But while i think its going to be more competitive then the first fight, i do think that Tarver's aggression will be a good thing for Dawson because it will give him counter opportunities and a chance at a stoppage this time. I feel that Dawson will also be better in this fight because he already knows what Tarver has.Comment

Tarver has no emotional stake in this fight. He has been growing less important. That's about it. He's boring as **** regardless though so I'm hoping Dawson retires him tonight.Comment
