he's garbaged compares to floyd.

That was when Floyd was "retired"

that and Tavoris Cloud are the only fights I'd be interested in seeing him in. I seriously doubt after that performance Hopkins would fight him. The only way I could see hopkins taking the fight is if Dawson agreed to something crazy like a 70/30 split.

Tavoris Cloud is real solid fighter, but he should have been gotten off his ass and fought somebody. He thinks just because he has a #1 ranking by the IBF he's gonna fight Dawson, but it's not gonna happen. At least not next it won't, I can't see HBO accepting Cloud as an opponent. Showtime? Maybe.

The only way Hopkins takes a fight against Dawson is if he saw a weakness he can exploit. Dawson is Taylor with more speed, skills, footwork, heart and even though his stamina is a bit questionable, he's miles ahead of Taylor.

Dawson needs to fight his mandatory Tavoris Cloud now or he'll be stripped of another title.

There's several light heavyweights who might do well against Dawson: Cloud, Diaconu, Pascal and Shumenov - and of course Bernard Hopkins.

I think Chad would beat old Glen Johnson in a rematch though.

Cloud is solid, but HBO is not accepting him for Dawson's next fight which they pretty much control who his opponent will be.

Diaconu? Lol, that guy is 5 9 and had a close decision against Chris Henry, pointless fight because Dawson would school him.

Pascal is athletic, he might do good, but he would get outclassed. Shumenov has less than 10 fights, he needs to fight at least 10 fights before he'd have a chance against Dawson. Hopkins would keep it close, but would would lose clearly, Dawson is Taylor 3.0.
