When he finally faced a fighter that wasnt drained.. he was BRUTALLY outclassed by hopkins.
Roy's legacy?? Beating up cab drivers and part time fire fighters with one handed knockouts?? You can spin all the bull**** you want. Tarver beat Roys ass. And he took that so called legacy and smeared it forever.

Tarver handed him his ass as an amateur and even Roy admitted it...I think Roy won the points though (controversial as always) but Tarver might have even won. The bottom line is he ****ed Roy up. He talked about it before the first pro fight.

Much respect. It's hilarious the way people try to **** on Tarver and his legacy because they have a personal grudge against him.

And Reed, you don't get it, you're punch drunk like your idol. At least when Tarver does an interview he's coherent and can speak properly.

What a joke. Jones fought Tarver in November, then again in May and he was weight drained yet continued to fight at that weight. So he was weight drainined in November and 6 months later.

Hopkins had a good fight. Tarver was concentrating on his fame at that time. Can't blame him for that.

I forgot Glen Jonson was weight drained. Idiot.

I know...the guy is a fool. I'm glad to see somebody around here isn't jealous Tarver looks better at 40 than they did at 20. ****in haters.

                  So was Reggie Johnson
                  Eric Harding
                  Clinton Woods
                  Montell Griffith.

Man those guys ****** (all top 10 in the division)

This the hardest I seen anybody ever ride for Tarver. Gotta admit he's got a point w/ the amateur/pro wins over Jones; and his willingness to fight Chad when Hopkins was reluctant.

Yeah...I mean Tarver destroyed Jones in two rounds, destroyed him in the third fight, and then convincingly beat Johnson in the rematch (the same Johnson that put RJ in a coma)

egreezy...Tarver is one of my all time favorites. So is Hopkins. But the hate Tarver gets and the lack of respect is pathetic.
