Filipino Ring Icon Manny Pacquiao took 23 breaths this past minute. Ariza, the condition coach who got Manny into the most incredible shape of his professional career for the 2 round annihilation of English brawler Hatton commentated, 'I've never seen Manny take so many breaths, his form and work rate is incredible'.

Freddie Roach, the three time BWA Coach of The Year winner also commented 'amazing'.

Pacquiao is said to have enjoyed the ast minute of his life and was happy to be with his family."
Lol, I love it. Don't worry, as soon as he finally loses, and he will, everyone will jump off his bandwagon too. It's just a matter of time.

I like Manny. He has already lost 3 times and his bandwagon will always be strong. His legacy is secure. 4 Linear titles from Fly to Light Welter. Amazing.

I think Adamek is close to really stamping his name somewhere, but Chad Dawson has rights before him every time and you know why.
It was the way Hatton lost, Chase. He was blown out by a fighter moving up to his weight division, he looked terrible.

Adamek has done more than Dawson in the past year, but Dawson perhaps should replace De La Hoya or Hatton.

But Hopkins could replace De La Hoya, who retired under different circumstances.
So why replace Hatton who isn't even retired? Hatton is a real warrior and fought the best (and lost, unfortunately for him). Calzaghe never fought no one and is famous for decisioning 2 has been great fighters. I'd keep Hatton, dish Zaghe.

Adamek is a good fighter but there are better. If you want a good white fighter ask for Vitali or Pavlik. Zaghe, ffs---

Joe fought a lot of good opponents: Hopkins, Kessler, etc.

Hopkins should be up there along with Marquez.

It's obvious a loss with Freddie Roach and in his prime is what I was refering to. I know he was in his prime and all against Morales, but he came back and settled the score. As for his following, it's never been as high as is has been over the 6-8 months. People are riding high right now. Sure he was respected and adorted by Filipino's but was not considered an icon as he is today. Hatton was a bigger draw having done less as far back as 6 years ago. Manny didn't put too many asses in seats , so to say. It's easy to ride somebody's wave when they're up and people are naturally going to favor the winning guy especially in a win like that but I am just making it clear that his stock and popularity depends on his record and not so much people juist flat out liking him. It's common sense in light of the Oscar and Hatton wins when they probably weren't even the biggest accomplishments on his resume'. That's all I was saying, take it or leave it. I'm not knocking Manny, I'm knocking the bandwagoneers.
