Virtually all are well schooled with a brillant amature pedigree. And have huge amount of potential and talent. But some seem never to reach there potential, due to them getting use to the good life in there new countires, as they were denied these privileges in there native Cuba.
Jorge Luis Gonzalez comes to mind, all the talent and potential in the world, but to lazy and to use to the good life, hardly trained and didn't take boxing serious.
But over the years there have been some outstanding fighters from Cuba, like Kid Chocolate, Kid Gavalin and Jose Napoles to name a few. And I expect more in the future, Gamboa is impressing me.
Shame do that some never turned pro fighters like Felix Savon, Teófilo Stevenson and Mario Kindelan, because who knows how good they could of been punching for pay......Comment

I'm a big fan of all those fighters but I don't know how successful their pro careers are going to be, because they're all up their in age for prospectsComment
